I’m signed up for cataract surgery, but am very nervous about it since they require you to lie flat for the 10-15 mins it takes. I can’t get a good breath on my back. Has anyone gone thru it and do you have any advice? Thank you.
Perhaps you could contact the anesthesiologist through the eye surgeon and explain the situation. I had both eyes done but didn’t have your particular breath issue. Good luck - the surgery is a piece of cake.
Thanks for the encouragement. My pre-op appt is Wed, hoping I’ll be able to talk with the anesthesiologist and I’m definitely determined to make my case. Just hope they listen to me! (Can I ask - why are you here if you don’t have sleep apnea? I thought that was what this forum is all about.)
