About the Napping category

There are numerous reasons why napping is a good thing. On the other hand, napping can interfere with nighttime sleep.

In this section the pros and cons of napping are discussed. Please feel free to share your own experiences.

As a person with multiple sclerosis, I find naps are often the only way to recover from immense daytime fatigue. One thing I do is the “caffeine nap,” which is a cup of coffee followed by a nap (less than 1 hour). Usually I fall asleep before the caffeine kicks in (it takes 30 minutes to do so), and when I wake up, I’m clear headed and energized. Naps, for me, are lifesavers!
